The Annual Seminar was held on 26 October at the Stirling Court Hotel, in the grounds of the University of Stirling. Attended by almost 150 delegates, the event focused mainly on the Road Safety Framework Mid-Term Review. The keynote address was delivered by Roy Brannen, Chief Executive of Transport Scotland, and Dr Adrian Davis rounded up the event with a challenge to look beyond best practice. In between, the day consisted of a series of short sharp presentations mainly concentrating on the three Priority Focus Areas highlighted in the Framework Review. Jill Mulholland, Chair of Road Safety Scotland, did a superb job in chairing the Seminar and kept it running to time throughout the day.
Although presentations may have included video clips and more detailed notes behind them, the slides below give a flavour of the material presented on the day. Should you wish to follow up on any of the topics discussed, please get in touch with the speakers directly, or through Road Safety Scotland.
