Applications are invited from senior nursery school staff/teachers/lecturers, either working in early years settings or with recent experience and knowledge of early years education in Scotland, to fill a part-time secondment position within the Scottish Government.
This secondment offers an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and experience of partnership working and project management. The successful candidate will have a strategic overview of the development of the new resource, seeing it through to the final production phase.

Skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications required
A sound knowledge of the Scottish Education System, an understanding of the Curriculum for Excellence, and project management experience would be a requirement. It is essential that the successful candidate be SSSC or GTCS registered. Although not a requirement, an interest in/some knowledge of road safety education in early years settings is desirable. Good interpersonal skills and an ability to co-ordinate information effectively are important. An established network of contacts would also be a valuable asset.
